I am guilty of that as well. There was also another throw to Randle where he wasn't the primary, Randle was on the left, Jordan got the snap looked right, and then turned and hit Randle on like a 7 yard in route. He can do it, it's just can he do it consistently and against SEC defenses.
This is my thought on it. It is safe to say, that was JJ's best pass for his career so far at LSU. It will only give the kid more confidence to do it again. RR and Shep seem to be his go to guys along with 83 ( still dont know his name). TT looked a bit off the first game but should step it up some. Now that JJ pop'd his long ball cherry, I think he and we, go deep more often. Confidence is the key in that part of his game I think.
I am putting money that TT will be the go to guy this week. The coaching staff seems to like to alternate who the main receiver will be in the first few weeks to keep teams off balance. Last year LaFell and TT seemed to take turns being "the man" with TT being it against UW and LaFell against Vandy. They also used RJ Jackson a good bit early in the season. This Vandy game will be all TT.
As long as he scores and makes big plays, I am all for it. RS and RR just have me sold at this point. SO fun to watch those 2 light it up.. You just never know what they will do with the ball,
