As much as i loved Demetrius Byrd, and Lafell, those guys quit on Jarrett Lee in 08. How many of Jarrett Lee's picks were deflections and poor play by our receivers. How many times did we miss tackles to prevent those pics from being touchdowns.

I think that cancerous crap is gone from this team. I think our boys want to win, and i think they want a leader out there, a guy who will lead them to victory. If Jarrett Lee hasn't shown humility and leadership by taking everything he has taken from everyone, then damn, i have no clue what humility is.

I totally agree with you Swerved, we need to be running dual, or at least not be afraid to bench a guy if he is sucking it up.

    Now wait a second...
I am far from saying Lee will be top 25 QB. But we sure don't know what he is capable of at this point in his career. Lee has thrown 41 passes since the beginning of the 2009 season and his INT rate per attempt is very comprable with JJ duriing this time period.

I really have to challenge your last point.... we have no clue if this year's offense would be the same if JL plays. Again the key point is all we have is opinions, we don't know anything. One beautiful slant to compare to dozens of passes around some frustated receivers proves nothing. But 17 games tells me that JJ is not getting any better.

I think Jefferson will be better . . . he really couldn't be much worse. Whether he is good enough remains to be seen. Whether Lee is good enough remains to be seen. Les isn't throwing Jefferson under the bus, but there is definitely a quarterback competition going on.

How can you figure that out when he has his helmet off, twiddling his thumbs on the sideline?

Well, unfortunately I think Miles is loyal to a fault. I can see Jefferson faultering and Miles not pulling him not wanting to put a dent in his ego and going with him until it's too late.

word on the street is that Crowton wants Lee and Miles is stuck on JJ. At least that what Lyn Rollins is saying.
