Coach Miles made a gutsy call putting JJ in there. JJ hasn't practiced in a long time.

I'm glad it worked out well for us this time.

I hope you weren't referring to my post because if so you took me way out of context. I wasn't talking about Lee's chemistry. But hopefully you weren't referring to me...especially with the "glad some of you aren't coaches" snub.

    It is what it is.

I don't mind using both quarterbacks, but I felt that Jefferson should not have been put in the game so quick. He should have enjoyed this game from the sidelines for a little bit longer so he could appreciate the consequences for being the team leader and breaking the curfew (coaches rules) like he did and potentially putting our team in a huge bind. I think it lowers clm integrity some for rushing to put him in so quick (I'm a coach too for 25 years so I have sat players before). We can use both quarterbacks as we progress but Jefferson did mess up. I don't mind the alumni booing for one play so he knows exactly how we felt about his off the field decisions, but one play was enough. Now let's cheer on all of our players so we can win the NC!!

“@TBob53: Anybody who booed #jj9 today needs to stop watching #LSU games and stop cheering for the tigers, we don't need you and don't want you”

And he's not the only player saying this.. Really classless people, I won't even call them fans..

And Tbob would be correct, kid made a mistake, he's paid for it... And it isn't completely over for him. Glad to see him back though, he made some nice runs when we needed it.

The cheers were also there for JJ until the boos took over.

Also saw JJ congratulating Lee after a score. Team chemistry is there.

Should have kept JJ in on that 3rd and 5 and rolled out to the left.

THIS, it really really irked me when they put Lee in for that one play. not only did it kill momentum and continuity to put Lee in on this situation, it could only kill JJs confidence that the coaches don't trust him to throw it and you put Lee in a situation where the entire drive rests on one 3rd down pass from him.

I don't like it one bit, if you want to give JJ some reps, let him have the entire drive.

Lee didn't suck today. There was many catchable passes that didn't get caught by the receivers. Putting JJ in when we need a running play is the right game plan. JJ is the running qb. JL is the thrower. I hold my breathe every time JJ throws. Next year this won't even be a conversation as they are both seniors. On the plus side, they sacked today! Oh, and booing a player is wrong. I will admit I am not a JJ fan and have yelled for him to be out the game myself (last year). I also realize you can be seriously hurt playing football and we are one badass team. Geaux Tigers!

I wouldn't say he sucked balls but it wasn't a performance on par with the rest and this is a game where we could have really worked on our lackluster passing game.
