I know *you* guys are... but from reading *a lot* of other threads there are some that are blind to the facts Apparently there are quite a few schools that either don't have a code of conduct/ethics for their players or they just choose to ignore them. In past seasons I readily remember reading all sorts of comments about the thug-u's of Florida (and elsewhere) and being appalled myself that some of the player's after certain incidents didn't even warrant being 'suspended' or having to sit out a single game. I'm glad LSU does have a rule/code/ethic in place that they standby and enforce whether the athlete is male/female, a star or a benchwarmer, is black/white/pink/green/yellow/brown/etc. I'd also have to conclude (i *won't* use the word ass-u-me) that CLM put him in there because the play/situation called for JJ's assets and *not* to 'make a statement'. If that were the case then he should have played Josh Johns at the first opportunity as well (did he?).
It happened again. We put J.J. in the game once we reached the redzone and had to call a timeout. A timeout or a penalty has occurred in both games this year. Unfortunately it is happening just like I said it would. If it doesn't stop it could cost us a touchdown vs. a field goal in a big game. The jump pass late in the game was a nice dimension, but I think we should have waited until we really needed it in a close game to use it.
I caught the irony of it when they did it, but it wasn't the same since CUM is gone. If he was still there it would have been much much better.
