I for one didn't want JJ to get much if any playing time in this game. Nothing personal, I just thought it would be better for the team in JL kept getting reps and continued to develop. However JJ was inserted in the exact perfect situation where his skills fit best when he scored. Especially since the running game had been dismal up to that point. Miles made the right call on that one. Those that booed were simply clueless.

Lee was happy was JJ when he scored. Now , would JJ have the same mindset, esp. after having a month's time thinking about if he would ever step rejoin the team?

And just like last year, had the penalty we commited been called JJ would have gotten nothing but grief in response to infuriation to a bad decision by Miles. It was extremely reminiscent of many bad decisions made last year. You don't bring in a cold QB in that situation - you're courting confusion and disaster and we've seen how bad that can turn out.

I think we have plenty to brag about. Am I really more optimistic than you?

PS - Bring back Hallman, he was unfairly terminated because of pressure from idiotic fans who didn't know half of the football Curly did.

You, sir, deserve a Honey Brown Ale (or whatever your favorite beverage happens to be). There are a bunch of moronic posts in this thread and ones similar to it.

Bit of a reach don't you think? I mean, he didn't take a read-option keeper for a 40-yard TD....or even 15 yard scamper. He snuck into the endzone from the 1. Lead-foot Peyton Manning has done that.

I'd be more accepting had you just said you were happy for him that he scored in his return after going thru a difficult situation to say the least. But c'mon! When down on the 1, in a sneak situation, you, me and about everyone else on this forum has THAT "skill set" to score...especially with a moose at fullback giving you an extra shove forward. It's entirely a play that ANY of our QB's could have scored--even the freshmen.

What I'm worried about is miles getting the redass at the booing and deciding to say f'it and taking that job in the NFL.
I don't want to see lee pulled out the game. I don't personally want a two qb system. It's not my call so I just hope it works out.
Booing will piss clm off. He's going to get an ass load of it and leave maybe one day over it. That would suck for lsu. Think about it.

The NFL is full of booing.

Coaches mostly ignore booing. There is no place they are going to go where it doesn't exist.
