It was loud from where I was in the student section. Oddly, I didn't see anyone in my immediate area booing.

I'm less worried about "taking the TD away from Lee" and more worried about putting in a cold QB at a key moment. Bad time to put a QB in for his first play of the game, let alone season.

I don't advocate booing either, but there is a vocal minority who are just gonna boo. If the recruits base their decision on that, oh well. There are idiots/passionate fans at every stadium, and the JJ situation is complicated and surrounded by mixed emotions from those who love LSU football.

I can honestly tell you that I have never, in my 42 years, heard fans boo an undefeated #1 ranked team in the first quarter of a game where the opposition has done nothing but go 3 and out. I have also never heard fans boo a coach that has led his team to an amazing record, winning 80% of the games in his tenure, and sitting as head coach of the #1 team in the country.

I don't think it will scare any recruits away. It may give them a momentary pause, but our fans are an overall benefit. Anyway, the world's a different place, old man, and you may want to get your hearing checked - this isn't the first time there's been booing in Tiger Stadium.

If you boo your own team in your own stadium while your team is in the middle of a beat down, you should be drawn and quartered. That is all.

Question for those *in* Tiger Stadium today...

How much did wind play a factor on the field? The talking heads (or maybe it was Hawthorne... I was listening to geaux zone too) kept mention how TS normally doesn't have a wind factor since it is enclosed on both ends, but, that today it was obviously affecting the kicking AND the passing game.

ETA: this was supposed to be a *new topic* could a mod move this please?

You're welcome to your opinion and I don't fully disagree. Of course, you don't believe in criticizing anything coach does, which I don't agree with.

Spoke to a few friends and family that were there. They mentioned how windy it was so I'm sure it had some effect, yes.

I criticized Tepper constantly. Let's see...since last year 16-2. Nope. Can't see anything to criticize over. Oh wait...I can't call my out of state friends and brag about how big a man I am because my team didn't score enough points.
