The little otter needs to stir up stuff to have people talking about him. I don't think he liked Saban either because Saban didn't kiss up to the media. I personally think the Fotter thinks too highly of himself and is really a snob in person. By saying stuff to rile up local fans keeps people listening to his show. I used to listen just to hear people talking about LSU. He argued with Roscoe last year when he started speaking positively about CLM and the Tigers. I think he is upset LSU didn't consult him when searching for new coach. He dreams of becoming a national sports talk host but he is really irrevelant. Ott is rarely objective and doesn't play well with others( if you disagree with him he has tantrums). I don't listen to his show or buddy's for their so called expertise. If i listen its really about the callers. I find this forum to be much better and people here have more knowledge and are generally more fair with their assesments of LSU sports. Keep up the good work! By the way:geauxtige  :helmet:
Well hell, in Memphis we don’t get Ott or Songy or whoever but we do have Ron Higgins (LSU Alumni) and some others and frankly for the most part they are either (i) homers or (ii) always know more about the game than any coach. Sounds like you have the same thing in BR. As a fan, not a coach, not a sportswriter or broadcaster, not a “student of the game” or any other BS, just a fan, I have to say as far as Hester starting –he seems pretty solid and dependable and he can catch a pass out of the backfield. I tend to agree with a previous poster that Hester and Williams in the backfield would seem like a pretty good combination and maybe we will see more of that as the seson progresses. My big complaint of the week is Craig Steltz not being named SEC defensive player of the week – he had a great game and made some great plays in a road conference game but got no SEC honors. Oh well, like I said, I am just a fan so go figure.
I do love listening to Mike from Plaquemine talk about the Astro's off season moves in the middle of football season.
No way will you see so many designed runs by Flynn vs VT. However, the Hokies will respect the QB run because of his previously displayed ability. Not a bad strategy, IMO. I firmly believe that Crowton was calling certain plays out of certain looks only to set up different plays from the same looks this week.
wasnt that larry foster to abram booty? the chasee is correct but im unsure of the chaser. plus if the story of stealing the purse to retrieve photos in the act to prevent the g/f from seeing them was true, i admire his effort. wait, he was married. scratch that admiration. still, the skank shoulda gave up the photos. its the being caught by abram booty which is disturbing (if it was abram. i think i just made that up) edit: even worse. he was caught by students.
Would it have been a good strategy to you if Flynn got hurt last week? I think not. I would differ and say a good strategy would have been to run our RUNNINGBACKS (plural because we have a bench full of them) since that's what they do. By your logic, why did we only run 8 or 9 plays the entire game then? Wouldn't it have been better to show them more to make them "respect" those plays too? So it was just a clever ruse handing the ball to Holliday everytime he was in the game? But this week with VT, he'll be in the game 8 times and only get it 4? Oh how clever.....surely VT will be fooled.
Like I siad in my responding post,I apoligize for calling you a that.Even though I didn't really "call"you anything,I was man enough to admit fault. Why still do you harp on that part of my post then?Your call to jimmy ott that day made you sound arrogant. You did not want to hear anything he had to say.,and I bet the only reason you called into his show was because you had a vendeta against him.Exactly what harm does his opinions bring upon the tigers? He has to be objective somewhat to keep the ratings up,since we already have a local homer on the am radio waves.I love the tigers,am a season ticket holder(two to be exact),member of the T.A.F.,and make every home game, and as much away games that I can.I pay for the right to be objective too,but I'm glad people like you don't have access to my phone number.Peace!
but I'm glad people like you don't have access to my phone number.Peace![/quote Easy chief, I haven't attacked you, and we're on the same team, I don't think I have called you any names, and if it seemed like I did, I apologize.
