    I know I don't know. But it looks like we may end up the creek on this one. Worse, without either a paddle, or a recruiting class. Sure hope not.

    Just quit putting all your eggs in one basket. Start interviewing multiple candidates. If you're interviewing just one and it falls through it looks like a failure and you have to start all over. If you're interviewing multiple candidates and #1 falls through you already have a start on the next couple. Jimbo could still be the primary candidate, but limiting the discussions to just him would be risky and unwise. Hopefully they have been talking with others also.
