For me.... 1.) Jimbo - proven head coach. Won an NC. Look at the QB's he's trained! Knows the lay of the land at LSU. For me, he has to be the leader by a longshot.... unless he and his agent him-haw around and make ridiculous demands. 2.) and 3.) Depend on how well Coach O continues this season. It's either him or Herman in my #2 slots or #3 slots. 4.) Shaw, Patterson, Peterson, Gundy, etc. Any sitting head coach with at least 1 conference championship on his resume. Alleva should (or has) reach out to a number of sitting head coaches at various Power 5 conferences around the country that have demonstrated they can win and handle the pressure of a big time program. I don't want Art Briles or Bobby Petrino within 150 miles of Baton Rouge, unless they're playing against us.
I think, in the end, we will see how bad Miles was at game management, half time adjustments and offensive philosophy. Some of us already recognized these things. Bring us a coach that can continue the Top 10 recruiting classes, and can train QB's and utilize our skill position athletes...while also continue the emphasis on STRONG LSU defenses, and we'll have ourselves back in the Top 10 and competing for the SEC title, New Year's 6 bowl games and CFB appearances. I truly believe this.
Wasn't a fan of Jimbo's offense here and don't think he handled Winston well. Doesnt seem like he's maxing his potential at FSU.
Idk man I was high on Chavis when he was at LSU. He's the reason why Les has so much success with no offense.
