Not the same, but just because it has never happened, doesn't mean it wont happen. Just highly unlikely. Besides, look at what I posted above. It is not a ridiculous thought for Jimbo to make that move. Maybe he just wants to start a new chapter. Maybe he finds competition and competing in the SEC W against some the greats a bigger better challenge.
I assume if LSU parts ways with Miles this week or next week after the A&M game, IF they have a guy in waiting, then he would be announced immediately and either coach the shit bowl we go to or at least begin his tenure at the school and start on the recruiting trail and drop the names of his coordinators and try to salvage what could be a great recruiting class. LSU can not afford to wait until after all the bowls are played, or wait for a coach to "finish" their season and come to LSU, which is partly why I think Fisher is not the guy. My point is, IF LSU has a guy in waiting, I assume it would be someone who can start immediately, or whose team is bad enough that they are not going to a bowl or not going to a great bowl game, which makes me worried that Alleva is going to screw the pooch with the hire.
If it's the Harbaugh scenario where it's become a toxic relationship, then OK. Maybe. Otherwise, IMO it's a 0% chance...
I never thought about how difficult it would be to try and identify all these damn minions. Now I have to actually look at people's names. What the ef have I done?!?!
I said that for hyperbole...obviously nothing is 0%, just like nothing is 100%, but the odds are very low considering I can't think of another instance of it happening...
I know, just banter. IMO very low probability of happening and we would definitely need something along the lines of Harbaugh/SF scenario to make it happen. If its just straight up, no logic in it.
