I wouldn't mind seeing a little more passion on the sidelines for a change, but I'm not a big Muschamp fan.

O definitely kept some sleazy company for a while, but there is no disputing that he is one hell of a DL coach and recruiter, plus players love him. I think there is no doubt given time he would bring back the days of LSU having dominant defensive lines. I really hope he stays.

I'm not excited about the prospect of Jimbo coming to LSU. I have been reading the FSU forums and it doesn't seem like they are too terribly worried if he leaves. They aren't sold on his coaching ability and talk about what Jimbo's legacy would be if Famous Jamies never went to FSU?

I was ready for him to leave when he was OC at LSU way back when. All I can remember was how "vanilla" the offense was.

If Jimbo is the best we can do just keep Miles.

Muschamp isn't going anywhere this year unless its for a good head coaching opportunity. Not only is he not inclined to move for another DC position, the wife and family are not interested in uprooting again so soon.

Jimbo has the same problem at FSU as Les has here, the powers that be do not like him because he is not one of theirs. Miles was never excepted by the big money guys because they did not have a hand in getting him. Same with Jimbo, despite his success they never liked him. Both guys are having success with a program that nit picks everything they do. It is tough to work under those circumstances.

They live in Auburn, Alabama. Baton Rouge might not be Beverly Hills or South Beach but it ain't Auburn

Muschamp wants to be a head coach again. The way to do that is be a bang up DC. He won't be able to do that at Auburn because they have no talent on defense. The stepping stone to a head coaching job is alot shorter at LSU than it is at Auburn. Maybe that changes but right now that's a fact.
