So, BHelm, you're saying that for those of us who would really embrace Jimbo as LSUs next HC should be happy after this weekend? The rest of the wish list that LaSalle indicates is beyond what I would have asked Santa for Christmas. Just nice to know that we could go from CLM to CJF - I'd be real happy with just that!

 

I like the sound of keeping O and Wilson, Raymond is good enough. Jimbo and Muschamp would be a combo. Can you imagine the fire our D would play with having O and Muschamp coaching them? Hell yeah!!!

 

That combo would definitely make the Jimbo hire more palatable.

 

Any way you look at it, it's an improvement on the current situation.

 

Speaking as a teacher for the past 24 years, kids have changed over the past quarter century. If a teacher/coach wishes to be respected, he must be loved by the players/students. The days of kids being yelled at and forced into respect are over, especially with kids from lower incomes.

That's one of the problems the police are having with kids in the inner cities; the cops try to dominate, instead of having the youth buy into them and work with them (I know there are plenty of criminals that won't react positively to anyone.)

In short, the love and the respect go hand in hand.
