Personally I didn't think they would give him the head job at FSU and they haven't yet. He may have hoped he would get it when he went there but they haven't done it yet. And to me, for a school like FSU, you don't give the head job to somebody who has never been a head coach and has had success as a head coach. Not FSU, not LSU. He may be the best recruiter ever (which is isn't) but he's in a state with Miami, the recruiting juggernaut Florida and every other school in the country is in Florida. The rise of Florida has hurt FSU for many years now and he'll find recruiting especially difficult.
