Now that is just sad. Either you don't care to follow your Tides other programs, or they don't give you a reason to. Oh wait, I think I know the answer to that. I guess I will have to respect you only following your football program and having to keep expressing your enthusiasm over your National Championship, since that is the only program you guys have to celebrate. I'm sorry for having been so harsh towards you, I now feel sorry.
Yeah, but they're all copying bama. Duh. Oh, and that also goes for whoever wins the NC this year, and every subsequent year, for that matter. All future NC's will just be copying bama.
Don't apologize, your post got me thinking and sure enough there are other college sports going on at the capstone.Turns out we have the #1 women's gymnastic team in the universe. So I've been studying this.As much as my curiosity is peeked as the young women twist, turn, bend, I must admit I'm not quite sure what the strategy is. Oddly, it seems to keep your attention anyway. So Legacy since you sorta encouraged this, help me out. Here's what I'm seeing. In the photos it appears you get points defying gravity in uncomfortable and narrow circumstances. Their uniforms usually have little sparkles on them and can come in pink. In these pics we can see that standing on your head seems to be what the crowd is looking for, and finally the coach always seems happy and offers a lot of positive affirmation throughout the little show they put on. Very happy sport, cool!
Now, although impressive in what they do, I have to admit that the only reason I would follow gymnastics is because the girls have smokin bodies. That aside I was referring more to having more than just a football team to follow, which apparently you do, you have girls gymnastics. Where as we have soccer, swimming, golf, track, womens basketball, softball, volleyball, baseball, and gymnastics all ranked in the top 25. So, we are a little busy to stay focused on what has already finished. BTW if you look into it you will find Bama has a few more sports that might be worth following.
But can they stand on their head? Turns out we have a very successful women softball team. World series participants and all that kind of good. Did you know you had a very good women basketball team? I know this is radical, but given this stuff is probably getting by most of us in the Tiger den, why not combine all women sports in one singular thread and in the spirit of more "public exposure," we should post at least one picture each post just in case we have trouble identifying the sport and the strategy that makes it so fascinating. College sports and education, does it get any better?:thumb:
Seems bammer has more talented women than men. That doesn't seem so far fetched. And we might be more receptive, tusk, if you weren't just here to stir the pot.
I enjoy TuskTimes posts...although they get a rise out of most of us, he's respectful and not overly obnoxious. And, as far as I can tell, his "mission" is to get us to quit blindly hating Alabama so we can quite properly begin blindly hating Ole Miss and Colonel Ackhbar-the taliban sympathist. :hihi:
