I'm surprised that some of you don't understand a Bama fans obsession with holding on to and continuing to bring up the past. For us LSU fans the 2009 football season is over and we have moved onto our National Champ Reigning baseball team. For Bama fan they are still clinging to their only success in the past decade.
Yes, everyone wants to be Bama. I hear God is now trying to be more Saban like.:dis::dis::dis: You gumps are sure ate up with it! I guess that's what one championship every 17 years does to you.
Then it is true, no matter the controversy or confusion of a season gone by, ultimately we simply settle in to the reality of the final score. No more shoulda, coulda, no more "Peterson was in," "Did he just spike the ball?" "You do realize where the SEC office is located?" Part of the prerequisite of being a good Bama fan is the ability to focus on the past. This perhaps more than anything explains why our national championship count is so high. We take the time to "research." In closing let me say I realize your heart is not in it, but just having Tiger Nation over here once again expressing their contempt and utter disdain for everything crimson, well words can't explain it. I know you did it especially for me. Maybe we can look at this as "spring training" and we'll look back and say "you know it kept me sharp and dog gone it I feel better." Thanks Tusk!!

You could look at it that way, orrr you could look at it from a Tiger fans perspective. We are just so damn good at all sports we don't have the time to just focus on what coulda, shoulda, woulda in just one sport. We already congratulated you and your Tide success, so as far as I'm concerned we already expressed our rival competition niceness. Edit: with the exception of mens basketball - for now- cuz we suck. Of course if you want to talk about the up and coming season, and what is going on in spring practice, I am sure you will find that most if not all of us are wide open to that discussion. Now get with the program and lets talk some baseball, I am sure as a Tide fan you have an opinion of your team and how they are going to do this season.
