One of the NFLs greatest fullbacks. I was fortunate to watch him most of his career with the great Packers teams led by Lombardi.
    RIP Jim

He was also an original Saint. RIP, Jim...

I was in grade school when Taylor played for the Packers. In the off season he lived about a block from us and I would see him drive past our house all the time. He would always wave to me. I was astounded that he lived there. I had thought all NFL players lived in big mansions.

RIP Jimmy. Still the toughest RB ever, with apologies to Earl Campbell.

Tbh, I didn’t know he was alive. Since there is a street named after him in Tigerland, I assumed he was dead long ago.

There is a Bob Pettit Street there too and he is still alive.

Tigerland has been around for a long time. All those guys with streets named after them were alive when it was built.
