In an interview with a Seattle radio station, Jim Mora Jr. expressed extreme interest in the Washington Huskies job. At one point the interviewer asked Mora even if you win a Super Bowl this year and the Huskies job became available, would you still be interested? He said yes. He just nailed his own coffin. Of course, that's where Jim played his college ball. But still, you don't say those things publicly.
He appently is now saying he was joking etc. I listened to the interview and he sure didn't sound like he was joking: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2698649
The backtracking won't fly. He repeatedly interrupted the interviewer to say "I'm serious". Sorry Jimmy boy, nobody's buying that. He was on the way out, this solidified it. Disclaimer: Unless they get into the playoffs, winning solves all ills.
" Shoulda, coulda, woulda "........"Playoffs!!, Playoffs!!"......." We didn't run, we didn't catch, we didn't coach well, we didn't do diddley poo!!!!!!"
