I just got a text that just said "Rumors of Jim Hawthorne quadruple bypass surgery last night." That's all I know
All I've seen is the Net rumors. If he had the surgery, why not say so? I'm obviously not a Dr, but he had the surgery how would that effect him doing the remaining games?
Sometimes they keep keep these things quiet until the outcome is known We didn't know that Cam had been treated for prostrate cancer until right before the season. I haven't even seen any net rumors except for what my friend texted me
It was posted on TD but now the page has been pulled. That's a sign that it was all untrue to begin with http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/lsu-sports/?notfound=1
TD has a new thread about it with a link that Hawthorne will not be broadcasting Saturday night because of a "medical procedure" last week.
Just says "a medical procedure. If it was a quadruple bypass would he be able to return in a couple of weeks? Hawthorne underwent a successful medical procedure late last week and is still recovering. Hawthorne is expected to return to the booth in a couple of weeks.
