You have a number of guys local that could work in some form, Matt does a good job with Catholic High games. When Doug Moreau leaves, Spears might be tied with SEC Net. Kevin Mawae is one, Ryan Clark is another, but ESPN may come calling after his playing days. Remember this, the guys that talk after games, the good interviewers, they end up on a mic later on. The ones that clam up, after their playing days, they are on there own.

 

The problem is that anybody local and really good and well known will get a job with ESPN

That was KWKH in Shreveport. I could catch it in North Carolina on clear nights on Mount Mitchell. I would drive up there on Saturday nights to see if I could tune it in and catch the games. If they were playing Tenn., Vandy, or USCe, I could catch them on local station in Tenn and South Carolina.
