    Don't be silly.

He won't be a career backup.

    Ever heard of ring rust?

    The dude hadn't played since 12th grade . . . literally.

He has gotten better incrementally every game.

If my backup has 10 TDs and 7 INTs, my starter must be a damn good QB.

And I might add, I'd like to congratulate the Packers for making a huge mistake (like I said all summer) and trading Brett Favre.

I do find that part amazing that he has had literally 0 game experience since high school.

To his credit, he has kept himself prepared.

I just don't want you to get all Matt Schaub on me, ya know?

Now this Dustin Keller kid, he's got some future!

Favre played pretty flawless ball tonight in the biggest game of the Jets season to date.

Not sure if the Packers are much better with Favre, however. Most of their problems are on the defensive end of the ball. So I guess what I'm saying is the trade was good for both teams since the Pack got a draft pick out of it. And that conditional draft pick just got better.

yeah. I don't think he is the next . . . Tom Brady. lol

But if I were someone like say Minnesota, who all I needed was a QB, I'd def grab him.

Cassel with that receiving corps would be reduced to the likes of a.......backup QB!

On a side note, that Jeremy Cotchery catch has to be one of the all time greats.

I still don't have any idea how he was able to secure the ball.

Pats had to be having severe flashbacks on that one. :hihi:

ISL's career backup went 30/43 with 415 yards and 3 TDs and just 1 INT in a big win at Miami today.
