I just have to disagree with your analysis here. And no, I'm no fan of the Iranians or Muslims in general. I think they are a bunch of heretics but what I think about them doesn't matter. What matters is international law and power politics. It's a dangerous mixture I agree and has caused plenty of problems but the Soviet Union had nukes, China has nukes....both crazy messianic regimes and we survived just fine. Iran is no threat to the US. And neither was Iraq. On what basis? We Americans good....the other guy bad? I hope you have a little more to your argument than that?:grin:

I will try to make my point more clear: A) Calling a country's leadership insane or whacked out is insufficient cause to start wars. B) Nations conduct foreign policy, for the most part along lines that correspond to their national interest. C) The United States military is not in the business of democratizing the world. Get that through your head. It is in the business of defending our national interest, as does every other nations military when possible. If the US is threatened by Iran I would ask you to show me where? When has Hezbollah ever attacked US property? Iran and Israel are in a Middle East pissing match and that is their business, not ours. Israel has numerous nuclear weapons and Iran has, as of yet, none. Who is a threat to whom here? Are you, as individuals incapable of seeing through the media propaganda, at least at some level? You might as well believe the Soviet Union's charges of being invaded by Finland for God's sake. Do you realize Hitler claimed Poland had attacked Germany? Open your eyes and take a good long look at the US foreign policy. It is in Israels interest but not the American peoples.
You will continue to believe what you are predisposed to believe. It has already been pointed out some of the reasons that radical muslims hate not only me but your and your family as well and would happily dance on your grave. I don't know if you are a Christian, a Jew, a Rastafrian or whatever but if you aren't a muslim they hate you. They even hate you if you are not "the right kind of muslim." Those animals have a 6th century mentality but unfortunately they now have access to 21st century weaponry and are highly moble. In the days when they had to depend of camals for transportation and swords to kill infidels with the had to be satisfied with killing local Jews, Christians and 'the "wrong kind of muslims" You and I are both Infidels.
