Posting an unsubstantiated rumor with less than five posts is a red flag, Baybe. The tough questions happen to anybody who does so around here, but especially with single-digit posters. We get many "posers" from rival schools who just logon here to start trouble with a negative thread. Not saying that was your intent, but you should know that such behavior is considered to be bad form on the forums. That is why you were questioned -- to see if you had something more substantial to add . . . or if you were just going to post a controversial rumor and flee. If you stick around you will see how it works. Otherwise we will just see you on the Auburn boards.
This has now been confirmed on TigerBait. Apparently he told his mom he didn't feel like coming this weekend or something. While it doesn't matter, he could still sign with us considering he committed to us without an official visit... He has been here before though unofficially...
While I do agree that some posters around here can be rude to newbies at times, I saw nothing that would be considered rude in response to you post. If you're that sensitive, maybe this isn't the right forum for you anyway.

Im not surprised. I raised some harsh doubts about this kid a couple weeks ago. I had been semi following his recruiting because he was insterested in us but the more I heard and found out the more I was glad he was leaning to the Chickens. I'll welcome him and hope he proves me wrong, if he ever gets here, but I wish we would just pull our offer.
Wheaux cares? No really, thanks for the info - it appears it is correct. But I'm not going to lose any sleep over whether this kid visits or not. Apparently he won't be eligible anyway and he's changed commitments several times. All we know about his connection to LSU is that he pulled an off-brand LSU cap out of a bag on TV and made some fairly incoherent statements about the "commitment".
