These guys are likely or not to choose LSU in the next coming weeks.

Jermaine Thomas, was quoted as saying he was excited about his visit here despite people wanting him to be firm to FSU.

Corey Liguet is probably more on the fence, he probably will go to Illinois in my opinion.

DeAndre Brown cancelled his visit to Ole Piss, doesnt look like he will take anymore visit, he is just tired of the recruiting scene. Well he should just committ if he is tired.

Derrick Hall-I think he will go to A&M, he says it is down to A&M and LSU. I dont think he wants to wait in the wings here.

Lavar Edwards says he is confused about what I dont know, but he may just go to Bama, how good is this kid supposed to be anyway

If we dont get Edwards, I think a full court press should be made on Pryor, use some of those Urban meyer tatics.

Ron Zook once spoiled LSU's otherwise perfect season.

LSU may be poised to return the favor.

The Tigers appear to be on the verge of stealing a commitment from Zook's Fighting Illini. Hialeah, Fla., defensive tackle Corey Liuget, a 6-foot-3, 260-pounder who is ranked No. 80 on the Press-Register's Super Southeast 120, won't make his college destination known until national signing day on Feb. 6. However, there is reason for LSU to feel optimistic and Illinois to get a bit worried.

"(LSU is) very, very strong with me in terms of where they stand right now," Liuget told Rivals.com. "The thing about LSU is that I feel very comfortable with Coach (Les) Miles. LSU is one of a few schools that are still in the running. LSU is strong as in my favorite school strong."

Not sure when he made these statements.

Go ahead and put him as a lock. It's kind of like the AD giving his vote of confidence to a coach before he fires them. Any time a recruit says this about CLM, I like our chances.

I know this has been discussed before but if Miles can continue to keep the best in Louisiana @ LSU AND get good talent from out of state, we will be in the hunt for years to come.

Yea that is coming more of the trend with these kids, Miles doesnt really seem to bs these kids into thinking if you come here, you will be God on campus and we will take care of you.

I think one of his main recruiting pitches to guys is that you will come here work hard, earn playing time, go to class, compete for NCs and go to class.
anything else I cant promise you.

That's what Patrick Johnson said, I feel real comfortable with Coach Miles. I love to hear that. I guess it's one good reason Miles is a good recruiter. He has shown integrity through the Mich thing, and folks can see he's clearly committed to LSU. This bodes well for the future, IMO. :geaux:

Under no conditions should we use Meyer's tactics. We're better than that. Why would you want to get down in the gutter with Meyer?
