Well as long as you're politically correct.

Jason Whitlock should be fired for his tweet after Lin put up 38 against the Lakers:

"Some woman in NYC is going to feel 2 inches of pain tonight".

Whitlock is a moron, anyway. Nobody would miss him.

Lin with 14 assists and 5 steals, to go along with 28 points.

Probably his 2nd finest performance to date (best being the Lakers game).

Good to see he comes up biggest in the biggest of games.

You can easily deal with 7 turnovers if you get 5 steals and 14 assists to go with it.

With Baron Davis and Josh Harrellson coming back in about a week, the Knicks are suddenly pretty damn deep:

PG = Jeremy Lin, Baron Davis, Mike Bibby
SG = Landy Fields, Tony Douglas, Iman Shumpert
SF = Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith, Bill Walker
PF = Amare Stoudemire, Jared Jeffries, Steve Novak
C = Tyson Chandler, Josh Harrellson, Jerome Jordan

A ton of 3 point shooters on this team (Smith, Davis, Novak, Douglas, Harrellson, Bibby, Fields).

Suddenly, he makes the Knicks exciting to watch. The additions of Amare and Melo didn't do it. Amazing how a relatively unknown commodity has stolen the spotlight from the team's two "superstars" on basketball's biggest stage, Madison Square Garden.

    And the dude is clutch.

Baron Davis is back tonight as well as Melo.

I actually am more curious how Davis could (potentially) adversely affect Lin as opposed to Melo.

These last 9 games, this was Lin's team, no point guard behind him to push him for his starting spot. Baron Davis is more than capable of leading this team at the point position. How many minutes is Davis going to take away from Lin? If Lin has a couple of bad games, is he going to starting thinking about losing his job as starter?

Melo sucked balls tonight going 4-11 from the field and a whopping 6 turnovers plus an offensive foul. That's 18 possessions with only 4 baskets to show for it. Why the hell he played 37 minutes tonight is beyond me.

Knicks easily win if he doesn't step out on the court tonight.

    Not good.

    Not good at all.

I would try to move him if I were the Knicks. Melo is a loser. Scoring machine who does nothing else to help his team.

Yep. He's strictly offense. Bad move on part of the knicks to land him.
