I think Hill is yanking chains saying he favors LSU and Bama. IMO, he's probably an AU silent. Here's why this doesn't bother me anymore... Hilliard, Blue, Ware, Ford, Magee AND...we need to concentrate on LBs...not RBs. If he wants (or his mom wants) to look around, so be it. But don't sit on his scholly...give it to someone who wants it, and someone LSU NEEDS. LSU wants Hill...but doesn't NEED him. And Tusk, you're funny saying Hill has 'potential'. Hill's a truck. I would like him in this class, but it just ain't gonna happen...and we have areas of greater need.
As much as I would like us to get Hill, it isn't the end of the world. We have a stable of backs, and as has been mentioned we do have more pressing needs.
i hope not. that would be sad. seems kids are playing games more and more doing that. and it is a dishonest way for them to go about their recruitment.
Personally, I think it's more of a hit losing a kid in our backyard to another SEC team, than it is to actually lose Hill the player.
It is. No offense to Hill, but we don't NEED another running back. I personally think he's worth taking just because he's excellent, and also because he's an excellent LOCAL kid. It sends the wrong message when a solid local player leaves the state, and if it's to AU, it's becoming a very disturbing trend. I didn't care too much that McKnight went to USC, because it was to USC, and he was a Curtis kid, so I didn't expect much else. But lately with Trovon Reed, GRob, and possibly Hill, this is starting to piss me off. Like I needed another reason to hate AU. - I'm not one that thinks AU is paying these guys, but I think there's some VERY negative recruiting going on there. It'll come back to bite 'em in the arse most likely...at the expense of Reed, GRob, and maybe Hill. I'd like to say I will root for these guys no matter where they go, but that ain't happening. I'm an LSU fan. If their success doesn't impact LSU, then I wish them all the best. But their success at AU DOES impact LSU, and mainly, I wanna see AU fall flat on their faces, and shut this crap down. I truly wanna see AU slaughtered in the BCSNCG, and I want the hammer dropped after that. I wanna see Malzhan bolt, and I wanna see them go 5-7 or worse next year. I want LSU to beat the dog shyt outta them next year. If all that happens after these kids are at AU, oh well...too bad for them.

Amen, may a large sink hole suck them all in. Then while the Tigers are on top of the world they can all look back home and think to themselves, man I f'd up.
Dead on, RB is not a position of need. I do however want AU to win the MNCG just for the SEC and even as bad as I hate AU. I also want them to pay the price like they should when the NCAA is finished.
