It's where we send them. He'll have a lot of company there. Where would you send him, Edwin's halfway house? Party time . . .
Regardless of the charge, I think we can all admit, this was a bad decision by this young man. Speaking for myself, when I was 18, a 14 year old was the furthest thing from my mind. As far as his recruitment goes, I would think that the best thing to do is not offer the schollie to him. I'm sure he'll get an opportunity to redeem himself somewhere down the line just like Mett. Someone will offer him after this has blown over. Time heals everything it seems. I hope the best for the young girl as well.
One thing is for sure is that Miles loves his players and generally sticks by them through thick and thin. There was some great quotes from Terrence Toliver about how Miles treated him just like one of his own kids after TT got in that altercation in which he broke his wrist. So, if Hill is cleared I'd expect Miles to stand by the kid.
I have one person telling me that Miles heard about this incident before the arrest and the scholarship was already pulled. I will wait and see if I can get any confirmation.
if there is vid, this is similar with the Ga player that got 10 yrs. its one thing to think about hs kids having sex, but watching a gangbang is another thing. btw, it was the law in Ga. the judge could not give a shorter sentence. the state leg specifically changed the law for this kid so he could get out early.
Yep, got a Georgia relative, young coach, all american guy, all american smile, great coach, was a little too friendly with one of the girls on his team. He was basically seduced coming back from a game. Very concensual. The mom found out. He'd be going on his 5th year now in the big house. Parole ain't happening and his cell mates have included a large number of hard core MURDERers. I don't think he has dropped the soap yet, at least we pray he hasn't. Geaux Tigers hwr
This was not a criminal sneaking into a house and violently raping an unsuspecting victim. These were horny teenagers doing what teens do.
