I stand by saying that I do feel Harris has the brighter future. I also stand by feeling that Harris should be getting more game reps and would eventually pull away. All that said, saying AJ has no future is ridiculous. The kid is still just a SOPH. He just has to slow the game down. He threw some beautiful balls. He did miss on quite a few and held on for too long a lot of times as well. Give the kid a chance.
He's 3-1 against SEC competition. Harris is 0-1. Both of these quarterbacks have room to improve and both are improving. Jennings outplayed Wallace last night and that is what is important to me.
I think in due time AJ will slow the game down. He has a better understanding of things than Harris. I see that and get it. AJ just has to go through progressions, not look for just the primary. I do think the coaches should put him rolling out more often. He throws a better ball on the run.
