If this ain't the pot calling the kettle black! SPORTSbyBROOKS » Auburn Writer’s Allegations Betrayed By The Truth Today the Publisher of Auburn Rivals site AuburnSports.com, Jeffrey Lee, leveled allegations on Mobile radio station WNSP - and the message board of his own site - of possible recruiting impropriety involving a recent signee of another school’s football program. Blah blah blah
You could see this coming from a mile away given the rivalry and it getting even nastier lately. But Mr. 85% La'el Collins to AU really doesn't add any credibility. If I was a Bama fan I would be relived to find out Lee is the one bringing these allegations to the forefront.
If your program was still on Probation, I doubt you'd find any such relief, regardless of the source. :yelwink2: Oh, and for the record, when the "Mr. 85% La'el Collins to AU" claims surfaced, I posted on this board that it was only wishful thinking, that La'el was LSU all the way. Does that make me more credible? .... 'cause if it does, I've got an interesting little story involving Ono Island and a player auction that took place there. Thank goodness, both LSU and Auburn excused themselves from pursuing that particular player as soon as we learned the process was going to get dirty. :yelwink2:
Hahaha .... I can't keep tossing up these softballs for ya', Bhelm unless you're going to start stroking 'em over the wall ! Have a great one, my friend. Enjoy this: The Realist Nation
I think I found Jeffy's cousin, as this 'writer' has Auburn colored glasses for sure. I have yet to determine what is worse, Yahoo! Sports linking this on its front sports page or that the author is sooo pro Auburn beyond any rational thought or reason. My favorite lie from this link is below. Auburn fan reaction: Statements by former Auburns players outlandish - College Football - Rivals.com ... Chaz Ramsey mainly only worked out with the team. If you have ever seen the movie "Rudy" with Sean Aston, that is Ramsey, only the story doesn't end with Auburn carrying Ramsey off the field. I thought I would put Chaz's career below here to illustrate how much light he saw. 2008 -- Phil Steele's Preseason Honorable Mention All-SEC. 2007 -- Honorable Mention Freshman All-America by Collegefootballnews.com ...
