Which would make sense under ordinary circumstances. I just have visions of a 12-minute time of possession game, with a Miles post-game interview and Monday press conference where he says "We had a want to get #12 in the game and get the quarterback snaps but we just didn't have a chance to run those plays."
Lee can establish the run game (he hands the ball off quite well) but Jefferson can't establish a passing attack.
JJ forces the defense to play the run for the RBs and JJ because we continue to run with JJ no matter what. I just hope that we don't run the option every time he comes in the game. But I wouldn't mind another 83 yard TD.
I am late to this thread but I would start JJ not because of his skill but to reduce the pressure on JL. Just like last week but more so. It seems based on last week's play JL needs a break every once in a while to gather himself and watch the O play against opposing D. Would I prefer JL be capable of starting and holding up the entire game? Yes but I am afraid he can't. For now and at Fla I think a 2 QB system is needed for sucess.
When are you guys going to start realizing that either Miles is the dumbest thing on earth that regularly walks on 2 legs or he WANTS to get fired and get the big buyout after that rediculous contract post 2007? I think him and his old lady want to go back to the mid West ASAP. They couldn't care less about Louisiana or it's people. Guess they need that "seasonal" weather huh?
They're coming out of the woodwork aren't they. This place is reminding me of another LSU forum more and more each passing day. The number of posters may have increased but they aren't bringing much to the table.
That's what happens when a STICKY thread is titled http://forums.tigerfan.com/tigers-den/102100-time-stop-lurking-start-posting.html :hihi:
Jefferson starts to open up the run game. I expect to see even playing time between JJ and JL until one of them establishes postive production. Gators are struggling this year; I like oor chance for a win. GEAUX TIGER!!!
