Was I right or wrong? My thread was posted to infuriate fans, as it should, because I felt pretty strongly it WOULD happen even before I found that link. As I've said, I had basis for believing that, before and without that gift I found pointing towards it. Sadly, just because Miles confirmed what I felt I would see and what I felt I was reading, he could still pull a whamy and start the game with Lee. If he does, I will post here that I was wrong. You should try that sometimes, admitting being wrong when that rare occasion happens. To go back and point out what you've already read over would be boring to the posters anyway and a waste of time since you've obviously missed it once. And I DID have to go but had a no-show for a meeting with someone. :yelwink2:
Well Tiga, this may be the easy way out...but I can't be right nor can I be wrong if I don't post chit I a)have no control over, and b) have no factual evidence to back up. Man, I must be harsher than normal today. I'm trying to get under your skin...and for once, it's working.
We need to get a rope, pair of pliers and a blow torch and teach mr. Croton how things happen to those that fail to keep tiger fans happy. :yelwink2:
How do you think it feels to be the person who leads your team down the field on the last drive of the game and be taken out at the goalline and replaced by some one who had no idea what to do and was going to lose the game if not for a heads up play by the center? How do you think it feels to perform everything the coaches ask of you while the other person still can't hit the side of a barn and yet the coaches continue to let the RB start at QB? You think JJ is humilitated? JLee must be down right ashamed. Also calling for JJ to not play is not saying JLee is the man. It's saying he's the best we have even though I don't think he's all that great right now either. It's saying "I want a real QB back there, not a glorified RB." It's not that I think JLee is SO GOOD, that he should start. It's that I think JJ is SO BAD. Can JJ improve? Sure. Do I want him to? YES! Will he? I dunno. But the way he's played in the past 5 games has been more than enough to show that JLee should at least be given a chance to start and get in sync with the offense instead of one series each. Especially after Miles RELIED on JLee to win the game last week. The most idiotic thing Miles and CGC have done aside from clock management is how they've handled the QB position. Everything from recruiting it, to coaching it, to game planning and managing it has been complete and utter failure. Starting JJ is just another example of this.
could be, probably is the fringe element that sits in the stands or gets on web sites such as this and makes demeaning comments regarding the players is a bit much to me. indicates a lack of maturity to me but to each his own of course we're all a little irrational regarding LSU sports but for me it crossed the line my .02
Fair enough, I was just trying to put some perspective on it. You are right though that some would take it too far, and that's just sad. :geaux:
I still can't derive out of this statement that Jefferson is starting. The article from which I snagged this quote starts off that Miles "confirms" JJ starting, but offers only the above quote as proof. Who knows?? Doesn't matter...both will play regardless of who starts.
