Thread title. What you posted was what we call an indirect quote. Gotta run, holla atcha later.
"Indirect quote"-a term used to describe bullchit posted on a message board to garner an overblown reaction from already stressed out fans of a college football team that is undefeated and ranked in the top 10".
Well, there are many in this thread that dump heavily on JJ and don't want to see him in the game at all. That means that they think that JL is the man to take over the spot at QB full time and completely. Do I need to quote everyone in this multi-page thread??? Calling for JJ to not play at all = JL is the man. JJ is getting taken out of the game and losing playing time. He is humilitated by it. If there was ANYONE on the sideline better at QB, JJ wouldn't see the field at all. I said "benched" before, but that was probably not the correct wording. He is losing playing time and the players notice it. If the performances in the UF game are similar to the Tenn game (and we lose), then there is no doubt that JJ will lose his job completely. They will give the reins to JL against the rent-a-win and then AU. The players see that and hopefully they can respect that more than the over reacting fans can. Also, Everything that you said about JJ about mistakes that force your team into a bad position, can be said equally about JL. There is a fine line between being the hero and the goat in the fans minds, but the coaches have to look at the big picture to see how the player is actually performing in each play and each situation.
The difference is that JJ has been given much more time to prove himself. Also, in 08 our BIGGEST problem was a terrible Defense. Now we see this great D, and tons of potential and our QB that started every game for over a year is getting worst by the moment. Change may not be better, but it will show we are at least trying to get better.
That's how far off center you are and possibly why you're labeled a pumper. To say that about something I posted, with good reason, THAT came to be true, yet you're trying to turn it on it's head, spin off on it, etc. Bottom line is Jefferson's starting. How'd I think that? Cause Miles is a hard headed man. If you keep doing what you've always done you can expect to keep getting whatchu always got. Like your coach says, "Good Day." "Sunshine Pumper"- see Fishhead
Damn...I thought you had to go. Your...YOUR thread title is "Jefferson's the Starter vs Florida", and the only link provided was from a quote yesterday. You started the thread on Monday. I didn't see the link from yesterday. I asked you to provide it, and you did. I said thanks. I WANT Lee to start. I don't know if he will or not. In reality, it doesn't matter, because both will play. That's not pumping sunshine...that's reality. Pumping sunshine would be me AGREEING with the decision to start JJ...or Lee...or whoever started...regardless of the reasons. I think it's a mistake to start JJ at this point. The reality of it is that there isn't a dam thing ANY of us can do about it. And if you're gonna sit here and deny your thread wasn't intended to stir it up, I'm gonna right you off as full of chit. You know it was.
Oh, and Mike Ford's gonna get significant time as well as Russell Shepard's gonna be more involved all last year. Miles said so. You can't claim you were right...not yet. You have no idea who's starting.
