Nice to meet you Miss Lee. Welcome to the forum.

I'm sure you would like JJ to transfer to give JL a better shot at playing next year.

I think she is refering to the fact that Shepard comes in next year and starts from day 1. What do you do in Jefferson's shoes? Probably one helluva talent....those guys usually don't like to sit very long.

Why would Jefferson need to transfer?

As I see it, Lee throws obvious picks that even a high school quarterbook would see. He eyes out the receiver from the beginning of the play to the end. I cannot stand watching LSU Football this year. We need Russell Shepard in the depth chart.

Looking at Lee's high school film, he didn't throw NEARLY as many picks in the manner he is throwing them now. I think it's the speed difference that is hard to adjust to.

True. You can't rule out Lee as a starter next season. He's had a good bit of experience this season. Tommy Hodson was the only LSU freshman QB to have done better than Lee so far in a freshman campaign. At least I can't think of anyone else. I agree that the defense is our biggest problem. But looking at our offense last night makes me wonder how long Crowton will stick around. Surely this kind of offense is NOT what he expected at LSU.

EDIT: I guess Herb Tyler might count since he did finish the rest of the season after Howard got hurt in 95.

with as bad as it was this year to play a freshman QB, do you think Miles wants to do it all over again next year?

Shep will play his fair share.

But he won't be the undisputed starter who takes 100% of the reps.

He will be more of a hybrid QB his first year.

For the record, the person who started the thread posted a couple baseless rumor threads last week.

Without rehashing what was said, I'll say this. She is a Jefferson supporter who wants him to play now. She is VERY upset over it. . . . .

they don't want to hear that clair.

they all seem to think that only Lee is going to be a screw up as a freshman. These other guys will be All-Americans when they play college ball for the 1st time.
