    So when he gets knocked out we have to rely on Jarrett Lee or Russell Shepard?

    No, we need to throw it out an a play call when Jefferson is in the game.

    They are running it anyway, they are just running it poorly and not getting much out of it consistently. They way he's running it is going to get him hurt, not the play itself. He's more likely to get hurt taking a sack than running with the ball where he can prepare for and somewhat control how he takes the hit.

    For the very same reason, the O-Line also attempts to limit how much he is hit.

    I totally agree. However, I think you would have a tough time selling that to J. Lee. And JJ was there to see exactly how he was treated each game and the increase of the pressures on him. Just saying, that may enter the back of his mind. Unless something dire happens, I would say Lee's future is quite limited there now. With JJ and then Sheppard. And what future qbs come on board? I still like Lee's arm though. Just a sad case of too much too soon IMO.
