I wouldn't read it as he is saying its everyone's fault but his.

I read it as he put the game in the quarterbacks hands and he didn't get it done on that series of plays and Miles is saying its his fault as a coach for allowing that to happen.

Now considering JJ has some major problems when in situations such as this all season long why would you even think to leave the game in his hands and not just run the ball then kick a field goal. So yea Miles is at fault.

    Brain Farts all aroiund.

He is demeaning JJ with that quote, putting it in his hands, trying to blame it on JJ, that is a new low for Miles, sickening.

He is not demeaning JJ with that statement. Take your sunglasses off and step into the world of football.

Look that entire series of plays was a who's who of screw ups. JJ can't read or figure out what to do with a blitz, He still can't figure out to just get rid of the ball thats on him. On the coaches side they should have just run the ball and then tried for a field goal.

In the end it seems that a pass to the endzone was called and a pass to the endzone was not what they got so who the heck do you want to put that on the coaches. The play was called and it was put into JJ hands to execute which he didn't so that is Miles mistake for allowing that to happen. Which is simply what he is stating. He thought JJ could manage the situation and the play.

Uh, he never should had the chance to get the ball out during a blitz. We were within field goal range with a minute on the clock and a time out. Run, Run, Run, kick.

It's on the coaches. Jefferson isn't to blame. Nobody has been able to explain to me why you would run deep routes when you're on the 30 yard line with a fricking 5 step drop on the QB.

It is Les' fault. He's the MOTHERF$*^ING HEAD COACH. It's his job to call timeout with 26 seconds on the clock instead of 9. And he can overrule offensive calls at times if he wants to. Why? Because he's the HEAD COACH.

Apparently our O-line didn't know what to do with the blitz either. They shouldn't have been throwing the ball so much when they reached the 32. You have a QB who hasn't run all game because he is hurt and can barely run. The risk for a sack was pretty good there. And yes, JJ still needs to get rid of the ball faster. No doubt. But he shouldn't have been put in that situation to begin with. Our O-line was getting destroyed and he was getting killed.

The mistakes were many down the stretch but I still don't understand why people are mad at the last series... the should be mad at the coaches for all the prior series and basically every game this season.

As far as the last possession, either run plays or wr screens should have been called. Jefferson has no ability to get the ball out quick so that deep drop back was not needed there.... that is on the OC.

The head coach not calling timeout blew it... he let is wind down to 9 seconds... why?

The head coach was very confused with 1 second to go.... he was calling kicking team at one point to spiking at another point....Jefferson could have helped the situation by just calling a play and ignoring the coaches but that is a hard thing to do in that situation.

LSU really had no business being in this game Ole Miss beat them down if you ask me, the better team won. To me LSU is very lucky to have 8 wins at this point in the season. Relying on talent alone will only get you so far.

While I like Miles and support him, I can't understand why you would want to spike when there isn't enough time. Or let the clock go down to 0:09 before using a time out. While he isn't the only one who screwed up, I hope he can admit his part, and learn from his mistakes so we can finish the season 10-3:geaux:
