The QB has a limited amount of time to get rid of the ball regardless of the skill of your O Line. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but we will wish JJ was in there by the time this is over. Mett ain't ready. I know there's a lot of happiness out there but it's classic "be careful what you wish for". LSU fans can be a sorry lot, that's for sure. I'm ashamed at the way some are elated that JJ is out even if though his life has been turned upside down.
Sitting here doing some 'net surfing and was suddenly brought back to the Shady's bar case. Here's why: I love the internet movie database site (imdb.com) for the trivia notes about various movies. Because "Night at the Museum" is on FX right now, I looked that movie up. In the trivia, I found this note: Minor injury in the movie business.....felony if inflicted in Baton Rouge.
1 thing I am still not understanding is why we know the 4 LSU players that were questioned, we know the female witness names, we know the A. Lowrey, hell we can even find the f'n bar employees names that the police haven't talked to. But we don't know the other 3 victims names.
Depending how long this is drawn out and the final outcome... JJ will be back in a Tiger uniform. This will be plead down, and neither will serve any jail time.
It'll be interesting to see how the DA (an elected official) handles this. If LSU is successful, though, no one will care what happens to JJ.
I'm definetly not elated that JJ is out and have much sympathy for him. If he is innocent I hope he can bounce back soon. Even though I don't know him, I don't think he is a bad person and he should deserve better.
I am definitely not elated that JJ is out and regardless of what he did or didnt do, my heart goes out to him. Forgiveness at the least. He is a Tiger and always will be! As for J-Lee, he is a Tiger and always will be as well. I am just excited for Lee not because he is getting the starting position, but because he is being given the opportunity at redemption. Something this kids has been waiting for and more than likely secretly praying for. To watch an individuals dream come true is truly gratifying, especially a young kid that has given so much to LSU and us fans, and worked his ass off trying to give it
