it's a good thing that jj is improving. i hope he and mett push each other to get better.

it seems i read someplace very early on with krags, was he was pretty much taking the qb's back to basics in working with them and (for lack of a better way of putting it because i cannot remember how it was originally stated) getting them "unconfused".

if that is indeed going on and he is much improved and mett is also a legitimate sec qb, i'm all for it.

You can't believe anything Miles says during spring.

I GUARANTEE that if Jefferson is not substantially improved, Mett will start.

None of this will matter until Thursday night since Les doesn't lose to non-SEC foes.

So your saying that the best QB will start?
This is the simple logic and would seem correct but is it really that easy. Somedays JJ might throw better than Mett and vice versa. Maybe Mett understands the playbook better, maybe JJ is a better leader. All this is hypothetical but there are to many intangibles involved with the QB position. All in all I am sure Les and Krag will start the best man overall, if not right away, eventually.

    Not that difficult to call.

Manning passing academy + LSU QB = Miles choice.

isltlsls and others would disagree. They don't believe the best QB will start - they believe the best Senior will start.

And really, I'm not saying whoever is "best" will start. I'm saying that Mett is better than Jefferson has been, so if JJ is not substantially better than last year then Mett will start.

If it's a coinflip between the two, the Jefferson will get the nod. But if that happens, it means that JJ is a much better QB than he was a year ago.

Maybe now that Crouton is gone, the real Jordan Jefferson will stand up.

I hope he does get much better. I think at best JJ can have about a 17 TD 5 INT ratio next year. Also getting about 6 or 7 rushing TDs. And having an average of 160 PYG. I hope the light has turned on and he burns em.

I think this is very much a possibility. The new offense might just be what JJ needed, and he blows up the offense this season, I would be extremely delighted to see JJ have a great season.

I have my doubts about JJ too, but some of you act like the kid has no talent.

    That is just untrue.

He was never "coached" properly.. Thats the problem...
