I think that will come with repetitions.. and when he has a little more time to 'feel' the field instead of simply feeling pressure. If he can't fix it then Lee will give us the better shot at winning.

    I think he'll do outstanding.

Jefferson needs to get the ball away faster with his throw.

Definitely. It really jumps out of his arm but he needs to move to the stretch.. cause the windup is going to cause a few fumbles/INTs this year.

I was watching JJ's highlights against GT, UW, Vandy, and ULL -- and he had two different throwing motions. One is your standard quick release and the other is when he goes into a wind-up when he really wants to zing the ball. He can choose to use either one depending on the circumstances.

For example, against GT, JJ used more of his standard quick release motion. Notice how the announcers praise his arm:
    0:27 -- "a nice throw"
0:37 -- "he had smoke on that baby"
    1:45 -- "great throw"

He has nice zip on the ball.. it just takes a while to get out of his hands.

When he does his long wind-up motion, sure. But when he does his quick-release motion, it's fine. Go watch the videos of Tebow or some other QB and compare the JJ when he is doing his quick-release... not much of a difference. And, when you watch those other QB's, you'll see that they will wind-up when making a throw at times as well... just happened JJ did it a lot vs. ULL so that is what is most recent in our memories.

Okay...I'll go on record and say that all of this is moot. In the GT game he hit JoJo in stride fifty yards down the field and made it look easy. Miles says he hits those every day in practice.

I think there are several things that may be contributing to his misfires. Nerves, pressure from the opposing D-Line, and the fact that we have YET to play on a dry field are probably all playing a small role, and when you're dealing with something like this that takes precision timing, any little thing will throw an inexperienced QB off.

...just my drawn conclusion from all the facts at hand.

That doesnt make you one, you're already that. But If I was making a racist post, I would own up to it. Do you think I am scared to admit that or scared of what you might think. You are nobody to me and thats a fact!
You can waste your time calling out who you want, these are the kinda responses you will get from me.
