Gee TUSK, looks like you've got it figured out. Only thing is, JJ is the one that needs to have plays that fit his strengths, such as rolling out. Everytime JJ throws off a rollout, it's a great throw, rythym is great, on target, successful plays! Some reason, they want him to be a pocket passer. This has been discussed here before...no matter how much we discuss it, it ain't gonna change. - I think it's rather telling that this Bama fan is rooting for Lee to get the nod...and can't say I blame ya'. He's been rather generous to Bama.
We are 1 and 0 against Jefferson and Lee. Who as opposed to how, matters little to me. Lee is the enigma, that's all. With Crompton, there really wasn't a plan B on the sidelines. Jefferson can play well especially if the OC and Miles are in unison on how to win ball games this year.
You talk as if all of the interceptions he ever threw were balls that went off his receivers hands right into the defenders hands.
What LSU needs is a QB who holds a clipboard for a couple years before getting thrown to the wolves...
That’s what all teams need… How many times do we see a great quarterback leave and next year, the less talented former back-up quarterback who has been “holding the clip board for years” leads his team to a national championship? (1) LSU – Year after Russell (2) Tennessee – Year after Manning With improved defensive and offensive line play, both of LSU top two quarterbacks will look good.
