You misunderstood me. I'm speaking strictly in terms of relativity, here. Relative to Jefferson's tendencies last year, he could use a little recklessness. That still wouldn't even put you in the same stratosphere as "Lee reckless"; it would just even out his reluctance to do, well, anything when he drops back.
i just sat down and read most of this thread....and it's getting me freaking pumped up for the season...I think what we will see this year is that players that were freshman back in 07...with leaders like hester and flynn will be embarrased about how they have carried on the Legacy that is LSU FOOTBALL..and begin to step up and lead this team...even if they aren't on the field
Which is something that, IMHO, was missing last year and BIG TIME in 2008. I would love to see the upper classmen holding other players accountable for mistakes made on the field. Not saying it may not be happening, but it just doesn't show. And I understand that we won't fully ever know what's really going on, but some things translate. :geauxtige
Don't matter, It's fixed now.:milesmic: Les Miles: "I say we are going to run the football; we are going to run the football." The Daily Reveille Mar.13, 2010
Man, a Milesism if i have ever read one. He reminds me of Yogi Berra on the aflac commerical, "plus they pay you money, which is just as good as cash"
I love Yogi, and Les would be the first guy invited to "the man cave." "You've invested in a guy for two years who will now have benefit and dividend for our team." "I think our team is really poised to really get better." Translation: Look out Bama.
What he meant to say was: Les Miles: "I say we are going to run the football; we have a want to run the football." The Daily Reveille Mar.13, 2010
What is "Lack of Execution", Alex? Defenses stacked the line to force JJ to beat them and he never did. Until you beat the defensive scheme, they're not going to change it.
