You hit da nail on da head! And, the nurses are probably the only thing I'll miss about MN. It's great being at a university hospital where the coeds are also nurses.... or is it the other way around? Actually Minnesota is a nice place if you can handle the cold. I really would like to see the students get behind their school's teams a little more. Well hockey doesn't count. It's not like their basketball teams were complete trash with the women in the NCAAs and the men in the NIT. Baseball team isn't too bad either, considering that last weekend was the first time the team has played a home game outside of the Metrodome. They have a respectable Big X record despite this. Oh well, end of semi-rant... I'm just glad to be back where I'm in the majority with my LSU gear, although I am pretty sure that I recruited a few Tigers fans up in the tundra. Minnesota is a very hospitable place, but there is NO place like home. No place like South LA. Oh and about Tirk? He's a nice guy, even if it is only because of his avatars... haha.
Welcome home JayB. Welcome home. This thread made me tear up. :bncry: And couldn't that plane find a better place to land than in my crawfish field?
Re: Newspaper story on Justin's homecoming And I'm the goober in the middle... jeez that picture is hard to look at. I still have a LONG way to go to gain my weight back.
Re: Newspaper story on Justin's homecoming i began posting here after Justin went to Minn. but have followed with great interest and concern. I lost my father to cancer when he was 58. Great news like this makes my day a little brighter.
