has jefferson ever thrown a pick six in 6 straight games?
the backup QB really IS the most favorite player at LSU.

I don't think anyone (here) is saying JL should start and JJ should assume the position on the pine. I think some...me included...would like Lee to get some more PT...earlier...and with more throws. Nobody has forgotten 2008, don't worry.

Just like the axiom, "you can't coach speed", you cannot teach a QB the ability to see the field 'in slow motion', and JJ DOESN'T HAVE THIS AND NEVER WILL. His brain cannot process info at gamespeed. This is why he will never be a decent QB, no matter how many starts, how much practice, regardless of who's coaching/ 'developing' him. Period. It's time to move on to the next topic.

I don't care how good the quarterbacks were in 2008, I care how good they are in 2010.

96 yards passing don't cut it.

Based on this logic, after Jim Plunkett was washed up at New England, he could not have led Oakland to a Super Bowl win, and after Kurt Warner was out of the Arena League and sacking groceries, he could not have led St. Louis to a SB win and taken Arizona there either? But it happened.

QB's do mature and get better. Not all of them, but some of them do.

The question needs to be asked of both JJ and JL.

After 2 games, JJ has gotten a little better, but not enough to keep the defense honest. We don't know about JL, but he looked sharp in the spring game, and he looked sharp on the series he was in against Vandy.

Based on what we see, JJ won't get us back to Atlanta. We're not going to run the all down Bama's throat.

No science in trying to play two QB's. I saw Coach Bryant do it for over 10 years , but then he would literally replace the entire offensive unit as well...........and no one really questioned Coach Bryant.

But at this point if Miles starts shuffling QBs to see who's hot, I don't think it's going to get the best from Lee. He's given JJ the keys to the place, done whatever to see he's nice and comfortable, even took him to Manning school and the SEC media day as a Junior. Talk about head games.

If you have Lee out there feeling like he's one play away from the sidelines, that's not fair. How Miles handles Lee could have as much to do with his success as opposed to IF he uses him at all.

Well Kemo Sabe, those that forget history tend to repeat it. Some people can't handle high pressure situations, they shut down. JL might be one of those people. Maybe not, but his history points to it.

I am not saying don't play him at all. He should get very controlled safe chances. JJ has left the door open for that. I am saying to the fans, don't get all giddy like a school girl about one quick sharp pass. There is a very dark history there. Most on this board are cautious about JL, but some seem to be more excited than I about seeing JL in the game.
