That might just be the catalyst in forcing the rest of the offense to step up and become more focussed, rather than distracted by all this, and for the offensive line to do better in protecting Flynn in this upcoming BIG game.
Make sure you stick around. Besides the bad point you're trying to make, I truly enjoy the creative spelling. I'm disappointed that you didn't attempt to type out "Perrilloux."
That's exactly it. The fools that are convinced of their own knowledge of the situation are just looking for a reason to whine. They want players with the mentality of an English major, yet choose to follow a sport that is not conducive to that sort of personality.
Isn't it funny how these same "Tiger" fans were screaming to get Perrilloux more playing time (as I was), now many are condemning him based on a story which, up to this point, has a lot of holes and lacks concrete, factual information. What makes many of you turn on the kid so quickly? Don't get me wrong. If it turns out RP acted inappropriately, and to an extent that CLM feels he should go, I will be sadly disappointed in him. And though I hate to lose such a talented QB prospect for our future, I would be happy to see him go at that point. However, right now I am 100% for this kid, and Odom until I learn the facts. And I am keeping the faith that they will be cleared - not because they're big-time athletes, but rather because they will be found innocent. Keep your fingers crossed for these boys right now. And reserve your judgement until the complete story is reported. :geauxtige
He's got enough talent for me to not want to waste his redshirt year. Let him sit on the bench, no point in bringing him out now.
While they planned on redshirting him, it doesn't mean they have to do so if something happens where we need him. It's not like you have to make that decision before the season starts and can't change your mind. But I doubt we'll see him unless RP is gone, Flynn goes down with an injury, and Hatch can't get the job done. Seems unlikely.
An acquaintence of mine who frequently attends practice described him to me as you say above. If pressed into service, it probably wouldn't be purty.
I hope that JL stays redshirted because it would squander his play time. Barring serious injury of MF, I can't justify it any other way. On a sidenote, I think the team needs a leader. By definition, that is someone that makes the best decisions for himself and his teamates. RP's decision-making abilities have not translated very well off the field. Labeling him a thug is a little premature, actually alot. My feelings on Odem are certainly mixed. He has previously been involved in violent incidents and his facebook quotes do not help. Later, Fur
There are over 100 football players on the team and you only hear two names on a CONSISTENT basis. RP does not get it. Odom needs CLM's boot square in his arse and right off the team...then tell RP the next flush (time) will be the other turd going down the toilet. I lived in OK during some of the Miles OSU days and he did have a lot of turds on the team as evidenced by Gundy kicking half the players off the team. Miles had real talent shortfalls and he did what he had to do. This is LSU and we don't HAVE to have anyone who discredits the LSU name. Talent is aplenty.
I'd rather have the undefeated season......... You're new around here, but this board (rightfully) doesn't tolerate calling LSU student-athletes thugs. RP will get his act together, I hope.
