He's redshirted, yes? Hatch is supposed to be a Matt Flynn type: kind of tall, team player, somewhat mobile, can throw the ball. However, all we've seen from him is in the Middle Tennessee game so you can't really tell if he has the intangibles.
I personally feel that Miles should give the kid a shot. Lee certainly can do better than Flynn. I'm just saying........
I'd think that staff isn't going to burn Lee's redshirt at this point in the season. If Flynn goes out for the season, anything is possible but the staff would probably just use RP and Hatch.
From some of the recruiting experts I have heard talk...potential wise he could be real good....solid size and arm strength and a very quick release....if rp never plays again after the bama game you can count on seeing lee in the tech game.
JL looks real good in his videos... and he was highly rated in all the camps he participated in during the recruiting process. IMO...his personality screams future leader
