So, What does anyone know about Jarrett Lee please discuss. How will he fit into the team? When will he start to rack up his play time? and Who's gonna take Jamarcus' Place this coming season?

Here's a pretty good read on him from May. Kinda old but good information. I really liked what he said about our coach:

Good info, albeit a little dated. Does anyone have any recent info on him? Suddenly he's a very important pickup, it would seem.

First of all, at this point, Perrilloux is on the team & there is no real reason to believe he won't be next year.

Assuming RP is on the team, Lee wants to & will redshirt next year. Then we will have RP starting for 2 (hopefully) years during which Lee can play some mop up duty.

He's got a very, very quick release, has good pocket awareness, & is smart. Arm strength is good, but not anything extraordinary. He can scramble but is not a runner.

I agree, but there is concern, and rightfully so. I like your glass half full attitude, though. I have never been able to master that personality.

Lee has said from the beginning that he wanted to redshirt his first year and get the offense down. Also mentioned that he didn't care how many QB's were in front of him, he just knew that competing against (at the time) JR, MF and RP in practice would make him a better player.

Looking at his clips on Rivals, he appears to have an accurate arm with pretty good arm strength. I would say that he could have the potential to have the same type of game as Rohan--not saying he'll have all the records Rohan had, but Lee, just like Rohan, appears to be a purely a poket-passer.

    You just described Drew Brees.

Or any other white QB that has succeeded in the NFL...

I would say that Lee's defining attribute as a QB is his quick release, can't say the same for Brees.

I guess you don't watch much NFL, since that is one of Brees' strengths.

Seems like he has a great attitude; reminded me of Flynn not flinching even when he knew Russel would be attending LSU.:thumb:
