Well people make up their own validation, so......:hihi:
They said he played terrible in the first half of that Bama game because we only scored 7 points against the # 3 defense in the country. Which they only have 3 points, because of a bs call.

I have seen no evidence at all... the offense looks exactly the same as the beginning of the year... it's not all jefferson's fault of course, the OC sucks. Any QB in there is going to have a hard time.

No i said they should be wins. Things can very well happen in game that lead to us losing, but on paper if you look at both teams, they SHOULD be wins.

i'm with ya. I think he was damn near perfect in the first half against bama. thought the game plan was great, and i think he is doing a better job getting rid of the ball, and taking off when he sees nothing instead of waiting for something to develop. First drive was killed because of a crap spot, that could have been 6 also.

I have no idea what this means.

Jefferson has enough to get to 7-10 wins if he has a top 3-5 team with talent on his side. LSU will be unable to out talent the top teams just like they did this year. If you think those WR screens started running dry this year, wait till next year. If things go his way you get to 9-10 wins, if you don't get a few plays here and there 7-8 wins. The offense is clearly a no show, I see nothing to change that with that OC and even if you change the OC Jefferson has limited ability to get the ball out on time.

what i am saying is that if our defense plays the way they are capable of playing, and our coaches call a good game, and Jefferson continues to play the way he has been playing, LSU SHOULD win those games. There is a significant talent gap between LSU and West Virginia, and LSU and North Carolina.

The only thing that has kept Jefferson in the game is the lack of turnovers... it's the Kyle Orton mentality. It works if your defense is playing well, doesn't work so well when you defense can't hold the other team below 14 or able to produce turnovers.

Like I said, good enough to get you to 7-10 wins with the talent LSU has. You are going have a hard time winning with 8-9 guys in the box and you keep running into a wall.

Step away from the bong, Man. Jefferson is the #9 quarterback in the SEC in passing and runs the #12 offense.

LSU has everything that it needs for a championship run next year except an all-SEC caliber quarterback. One of our guys has to step up and become that guy. It could Jefferson, but he hasn't locked up the position for himself with this year's play. Yes he has improved, but he has a long way to go to become a complete quarterback. So do all of them, Lee has issues, too and Shepard hasn't got a pass at all apparently. But what we have is what we have. Jefferson has the best shot but competition is healthy . . . at every position.

1-4? That's fuzzy math. 3-2 maybe... He threw 3 TDs against Washington and we were up 16 with one play left. Then there was Vandy who played hard, but never really threatened. Then there was Ooh la la. And then came Georgia and State. Georgia didn't outplay us. We were winning at half and we just won a close game on the road. State outplayed us in the 2nd half and we were fortunate to win. But the bottom line is that we won.

The only reason I said we might have won against Bama is because JJ didn't get to finish the game. In all of the other SEC games, he was available to finish the game. We were winning at half with him in there and we were on our first offensive possession of the 2nd half when he got hurt. It's not his fault nobody picked up Bama's blitzing defender.
