Not true. Nickson was dead last.

Lee had the #6 passing offense in the SEC, and is #6 in passing efficiency, and #9 in completions per game.

This year Jefferson has the #9 passing offense in the SEC, and is #4 in passing efficiency, and #7 in completions per game.

There is not a lot of real difference between these two very average SEC quarterbacks.

Statistically yes. But how can you not factor in the points going the wrong way last year? Still, I put the blame on the OC more than I do on Lee. I think the kid will still put that behind him and once he gains a little confidence and the OC puts him in a position to do that, he could turn out to be the better QB.

Dude, you are a politician. I said that in my original post and you left out the additional explanation. Nickson was hurt and came out in like the 5th game and was never the same. He didn't pass much at all. Adams had most of the passes the rest of the way and finished with the most attempts on their team. Neither came within 100 attempts of Lee though.

Yeah, as a previous person said, check the TD to INT. ratio (and keep the points given up in mind because they were HUGE).

By the way, it seems like we had a lot more attempts on offense last year because our D gave up TDs real fast as compared to long, bend but don't break drives this year (I could be wrong though).

I thought Lee had some good games early on against Auburn, State and I even thought he was pretty good against Florida (minus the pick 6 issues). If he could ever learn to be a little more careful in what he decides to throw out there(and be more accurate), he could be a pretty good QB. But that remains to be seen.

I think he'll do pretty good tonight though. It's not a big pressure game and La. Tech hopefully won't be able to pressure us too much so we probably should get 200+ in the air. But you never know what the other team has in store. Hopefully, things will go well and Ridley will run all over them as well.

My worries about Lee held up.

He threw the ball 5 times by my count without even looking at where the ball was going. That is inexcusable.

I had hope. I'm afraid he's got all the physical tools and that he's pretty much done at LSU.. he just flat out looked like he didn't want to be out there.
