How about Philip Rivers, Number 2 Overall Draft pick, starting QB for San Diego Chargers? In his freshman year he had a 53% completion rate; with 25 TD's against 10 INT's and a 126 QB rating. In his senior year those numbers were a 72% completion rate; with 34 TD's against 7 INT's and a 170 QB rating. His freshman year was not "terrible," but there is a pretty sharp improvement.
