I heard some Arkansas fans say they were making a push for him to decommit, because their probable new OC is the QB Coach for the Cowboys credited with Romo's success and that Lee might want to go play for them. Anyone hearing anything about this being true or not?

yeah a rumor like that is pretty much dead in the water when you start it off with such misguided info.

Lee has just laughed at that rumor, so I guess we're ok with him. The Piggies are just dreaming since they lost their savior QB.

With all the intrigue in and around the Arkansas program I think the fans should be more worried about keeping the commitments they have through signing day and for the matter, stopping any more players from leaving. I think it really sent a bad signal when Nutt says he told the players he would give any of them a release if they wanted it. I am sure some players are talking to parents and other advisors about what they should do.

Mike, they all get there release usually anyway. Arkansas really can't not give their players a release to non SEC schools, the players would win on NCAA appeal. They can refurse to give them an SEC release though.

    cajdav1,
Thanks, I did not know the rule on releases.
Even so, I still think it is a strange response by Nutt under the circumstances.
Some might take it to mean, "they can all leave if they want to".
Even though they have the right, sounds bad to say someting like that when the program is getting so much bad press.

Thanks again for pointing out the rule.
