This is terrific. A real boost to LSU's recruiting class. I expect OT Ian Symonette will decide today between LSU and Miami. Keep your fingers crossed. Does anyone have any idea which way Sumonette will go. IMO Miles should have the inside track on him.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it, but in his video clip of his announcement, Jared stated he was going to "continue his athletic career in BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL at Louisiana State University"!!!!

BIG PICK UP for the basball Tigers as well!!! :thumb:

I've seen JM listed anywhere from 5' 11" to 6' 2". Any idea what height he really is ?

    5'11" definately.

If you watch his announcement video, you'll see that he's not 6'2".

His dad looked pretty big though, maybe he has another inch or two in him somewhere.

Quite possible! I grew almost 2" AFTER I graduated high school! I'm still a short-sh*t though (5'7"). :hihi: :thumb:

I think he breaks 6-feet before his time is up and I wouldn't be all that surprised if he reaches 6'1" by the time he's 21 or 22.

well, i was at the announcement at squirrel run, in new iberia, and i had a chance to face him, he is at least 6'1". He is an honors student and a good person. He will be a TREMENDOUS grab for the tigers. He will be one of several kids to come from WESTGATE of New Iberia. There is another kid on the O-line, Kyle Robicheaux, that is 5'11 and 280 lbs and is a sophomore at the present time. No word on if LSU is looking at him yet. But several others on this team could be D-1 athletes.
