He wasn’t simply expressing an opinion. He was asking for action during an insurrection. Yes it was an insurrection as their panicked texts show. Being party to a crime certainly trumps privacy.
You call yourselves patriots and conservatives yet you are supporting the attempted overthrow of a constitutional republic for the sake a a narcissistic conman. Supposed inheritors of the party of Lincoln are destroying the republic he gave his life to preserve. You should be ashamed.

Sure he can express his opinion , see my post #694 bullet #3. But the thing you keep missing or avoiding is when you say this was Hannity just expressing an opinion that it's bullshit. He was a person of influence trying to influence a presidential action to a national crisis.

my question if whether he could, not if he did. is it possible for him to privately express his opinion under any cirumstances, and which govt admins you think should determine the line between opinions that are private and info you deem no longer private?

which govt agency should monitor his communications to determine when he is expressing an anodyne opinion, and when he is on the record and his words are no longer private?

can he preface his words by saying that this is merely his opinion, and keep his privacy or will the gestapo come for his records regardless?

trumpians such as yourself whine about the media, but it was the media that legitimized that orange jackass's campaign in the first place, instead of showing the comic monster he truly was/is. They wanted a race, so bashed Hillary at every opportunity over trivial shit, while refusing to cover trump University, or the Central Park Five, or his many business failures, or his numerous rape allegations and civil suits, and on and on and on.
